The Post Production Department (PPD) is a full-service post production organization comprised of the following devisions: creative editorial, grading, audio, and visual effects. The ideal candidate is highly creative, strong technically, and has a proven track record of delivering on large scale productions.
Description
Post production producers work closely with all members of the post production team, (editor/asst. editor/colorist/mixer/ VFX team) and liaise with production companies, external post houses, and music/sound design houses.
Responsibilities
Key day-to day responsibilities include:
- Organize and lead creative kick-off project meetings with post production team
- Prepare post production schedules
- Evaluate post budgets/bids
- Establish end to end post production workflow
- Track rough cuts through final versioning and delivery of assets
- Insure the highest quality
- Archive and wrap projects
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a post producer at an offline editorial house, in-house advertising agency, or production company.
- Collaboration and partnering skills with finishing teams, music supervisors, and creatives from ideation through to final primary file delivery.
- Experience in the following genres of work: broadcast, web, social deliverables.
- Deep understanding of the post production pipeline: pre-production, offline, online & conform, 2d VFX work, animation, audio and color science.
- Knowledge of devices, frame rates, compression schemes, file formats and cameras.
- Ability to manage multiple projects on the same timeline with ease.
- Technical skills: Pages, Numbers, Calendar, QuickTime, Version Tracking (Quip), Localization, File transfer (Box/Aspera)

- Working knowledge in: Final Cut, Premiere, Keynote
