Music Coordinator
Location: This opportunity is hybrid - on-site three days per week in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Music Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the music team with administrative tasks and enabling information flow between music team and it’s partners across marcom.
Duties include the following:
- Managing the music team project schedule
- Booking meetings
- Completing project related admin
- Project file organization and archiving
- Managing security clearance requests and NDAs for music vendors
- Setting up deal memos for music vendors
- Setting up file sharing access for music vendors
- Liaising with advertising and brand managers to determine license terms
- Liaising with Business Affairs to ensure license and invoicing paperwork is in progress
- Researching music rights holders and ownership splits
- Tracking project music budgets and spend
- Liaising with audio post team to schedule studio sessions
- Maintaining contact lists of composers and music vendors
- Maintaining contact lists for labels, publishers and artist managers
- Scouting for new artists and composers to work with
- Filtering music promos and delivering weekly new music updates to the music team
- Maintaining a well-organized and tagged music library
- Contributing creatively to projects when necessary with music searches
- The ideal candidate must have three to five years of relevant experience.
Hours may fluctuate based on project needs.
