Technical Producer
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Lead weekly sprints in collaboration with the Artist Lead
- Define project scope, capabilities and deliverable specifications
- Coordinate creative reviews: device setup, content collection, note-taking, and scheduling
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Align engineering, QA, production, marketing, content, and platform partners on timelines, scope, and dependencies
- Maintain project schedules across multiple systems (Wrike, ShotGrid)
- Ensure on-time delivery through cross-team collaboration
Technical Partnership
- Manage feature requests between internal and external engineering teams
- Partner with engineers to assess project feasibility and timelines
- Support Product & Technology strategic initiatives
Quality Assurance
- Evaluate builds for release readiness based on goals, scope, and timelines
- Prioritize stability and player experience in release decisions
Requirements:
Skills
- Knowledge of Visual Effects workflows as related to gaming, film, and commercials
- Strong communication skills with both technical experts and the ability to convert technical needs into layman’s jargon both through verbal and written forms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a complex, asynchronous production environment
- Knowledge of software development, game engines, game architecture, and related technologies.
- Hands-on ability to handle simple development tasks and working with code-based project requirements
- Expertise in agile methodologies, project management tools (like JIRA), and experience leading complex technical projects when managing the weekly sprint.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate technical risks, assess performance data, and make informed decisions.
