The Channel XF Merchandising Readiness team oversee the implementation and execution of product merchandising strategies across all Channel points of sale globally. Taking inputs from multiple teams across Marcom and Sales, the CXF Merchandising Tools Infrastructure Manager will work with establishing and setting up the necessary infrastructure for the store level tools that drive the flawless execution of our product and visual merchandising ambitions in Channel.
Description
The Channel XF Merchandising Tools Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the setup, management, maintenance and enhancement of our Channel Merchandising systems and servers. Their role helps ensure our tools and programs run smoothly and can be used by multiple vendors and groups.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Understand Channel merchandising tools and systems
- Setup of Channel merchandising servers and functionality
- Ensure data from multiple Channel merchandising servers can sync as outlined
- Help identify and setup workflow tools for cross functional communication
- Ability to work with Marcom IS&T, Apple IS&T, Information Security and New Product Security to ensure software/systems are compliant
- Work with Data manger on what additional systems or infrastructure would be needed for upgrading Channel merchandising tools, automation and enhancements
- Work directly with vendors and partners in troubleshooting technical issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires strong expertise in server setup and hardware infrastructure
- Experience working with software licensing and setup
- Good understanding of Linux and Windows platforms and how they integrate in a Mac environment
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Retail experience and familiarity of Vectorworks software
