Sr. Program Manager, Ops Platforms & Content Management

Job Summary:

Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We are the creative organization responsible for all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and execution of world-class communications. The Operations team empowers Marcom’s creativity by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and governance across our global organization and processes.

The Sr. Program Manager will oversee organizational platforms including the Marcom Operations Portal (Cosmos) and workflow and approval systems like (Product Security Plan). Collaborating closely with tools governance, success management, and cross-functional teams, this role will ensure effective training, onboarding, and adoption of new tools and system rollouts. By applying technical knowledge, they will drive feature delivery, QC, and creative content strategies to enhance user engagement and meet business needs.

Description:

  • Onboarding new users, providing hands-on support, training, including demos and office hours.
  • Oversight of Marcom teams’ tools adoption and tracking organization-wide adoption progress; defining milestones and ensuring the organization is hitting target timings for adoption.
  • Marcom Operations Portal (Cosmos) program management, content strategy and editorial management. Create and oversee an overall content strategy aligned with business goals and target audience needs. Identify content gaps, opportunities, and trends to inform content development and optimization.
  • Conduct reoccurring alignment meetings with content Editors, Publishers and SME contributors.
  • Write, edit, and proofread a wide variety of content formats, including text, images, videos, and infographics. Program and content management for Ops / Security / Tools training & onboarding content on various platforms (e.g. The Grove) — in collaboration with SMEs who will be providing the information.
  • QC new platform features before they push out to production.

Key qualifications:

  • 7-10 years experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and isolating software issues.
  • Knowledge Management or Instructional Design background preferred. 
  • Comfortability with technical concepts and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business significance.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to align content strategies with business goals.
  • Location-agnostic, as the role will need to connect and collaborate across all Marcom offices, including SCV, MLA, TV+, Austin and Geo locations.

  • Preferred years of experience : 7+ Years
  • Travel Required : No travel required
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
