Hardware Producer
Key Qualifications/ Experience:
- 10+ years experience supporting creative production teams.
- A proven track record managing the creative development process and helping teams create meticulously crafted deliverables in a variety of complex materials.
- Extensive experience working with creative Computer Graphic (CG) methodologies across a variety of tools, including Maya, Nuke, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Expertise with 3D digital workflows as they relate to 2D stills image creation, 3D Asset creation, and CG animation.
- A curiosity and passion for building new processes to support the creative process.
- An eye for opportunities to bring new efficiencies and optimization of day-to-day workflows.
- Experience managing a high volume of deliverables distributed to multiple teams with multiple needs.
- Able to creatively evaluate, judge, and influence vendors’ work.
- A history of developing strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, understanding product development, and ability to speak knowledgeably to its representation in Marketing materials.
- Experience partnering with Senior Creatives, and ensuring cross-functional teams follow creative guidelines.
- Comfort with rapid change, dealing with ambiguity, moving forward without knowing all the pieces, and obsession with detail.
- A firm understanding of the creative process and its nuances in order to accurately evaluate timelines as scoped by internal and external partners. Be able prioritize and meet deadlines while juggling many projects at once.
- Strong communication - written, presentation, and social skills. A history of building rapport and credibility, and collaborating well with senior roles, junior roles, internally and across an organization.
- A sense of humor, and solid self-awareness. You don’t take yourself too seriously, and are able to bring levity to daily challenges that keeps the team motivated and feeling supported and strong.
Description:
- Lead planning, kickoff, production and delivery of hundreds of hardware images across the year. Manage the briefing, creation and timely delivery of such imagery to functional teams.
- Actively work with the Product Art Director (Product AD) to create and develop best creative practice and standards for your product category.
- Manage production across multiple vendors, ensuring budgetary, creative, and delivery targets for all projects are met.
- Own budget management from soup to nuts: lead production kickoff decks to acquire estimates, manage top down financial tracking, ensure POs/ invoices/ financial forecasting elements are executed timely and properly, and proactively communicate potential overage or budgetary challenges to leadership and vendors.
- Maintain relationships with Product Design (PD) to validate imagery, schedule reviews, and confirm product info.
- Partner effectively with Marcom Brand teams and ensure all product imagery follows Product Art Director and Brand guidelines.
- Be the senior voice in the room and the critical partner with the Product AD to assess and highlight issues during production. Support the Product AD, helping them prepare for kickoffs, handoffs, reviews, and deliveries.
- Sync priorities and timelines across Packaging, Print, Lifestyle, Design, Brand, Advertising, and Interactive partners.
- Lead long-term planning efforts, across quarters and financial years, based on roadmap needs.
- Proactively collate and share information with key stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Represent your product category as the go-to, source of truth, point of contact for hardware imagery across all platforms.
