Technical Program Manager
(Remote)
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
The Technology team in Marcom is responsible for a number of areas, including systems infrastructure and internal tools, used by Apple business partners across the globe.
As the Technical Program Manager, Social and Partner Platforms, you will be responsible for understanding needs of Marcom’s Social team, defining product strategy, analyzing technology solutions, and working with a matrixed organization to implement and evangelize solutions catering to Apple’s Marketing Channel Partners; as well as spanning the entire lifecycle of Apple’s social media content. This includes creative concepts, content curation, production, syndication, staging, review and approval, and publishing.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements to develop strategic as well as tactical and detailed project plans, objectives, and schedules that support the needs of Marcom’s Partner Communications and Social teams.
- Drive discovery efforts to identify stakeholder pain points, gather insights, and align on key business challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish clear project scope, business goals, and desired outcomes.
- Document comprehensive findings and co-create an end-to-end, integrated solution strategy that aligns with stakeholder needs.
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party solution providers to evaluate and recommend technologies that enable seamless integration and workflow automation.
- Coordinate resources across a matrixed organization to develop and manage detailed project plans, accounting for both internal and external dependencies.
- Clearly define task ownership and decision-making responsibilities. Lead and track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Manage, respond and resolve production issues, through responsive stakeholder communication
- Partner with engineering, product, operations, and support teams to drive successful delivery of programs and initiatives.
- Oversee rollout, manage release processes, and coordinate post-launch support, including triage of any issues or escalations.
- Compile and deliver post-project evaluations, capturing key metrics and insights to inform and improve future initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of program management experience with a demonstrated ability to conceive and deploy functional workflow solutions at scale.
- Deep understanding of Social media content creation, workflow and publishing systems in a high value brand.
- Experience with the introduction and deployment of Social Media platforms at scale is required.
- Experience with deploying Sprinklr as a curation and publishing platform preferred.
- You understanding of complex technical projects, have experience adapting techniques to best fit circumstances, and can quickly learn about new technologies and solutions to lead their implementation.
- Deep experience defining product strategy and tactical product definition, preferably in a marketing agency setting.
- A deep understanding of agile product management methodologies, including experience putting product management processes in place.
- The ability to analyze and document detailed functional requirements to facilitate the creation of technical level-of-effort estimates.

Education:
Bachelors Degree Preferred with 7+ years experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities in a complex enterprise or marketing environment.
Undergraduate degree in Design, Computer Science, or Engineering is a strong plus.
