Job Summary  

Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. 

The Line Producer at Marcom production leads video-based internal and external communication projects across multiple platforms. 

In this role, you must be able to guide, innovate, and oversee all phases of production, ensuring they are produced with budget efficiencies and creative excellence. 

Key Qualifications 

  • You have at least 10 years of experience as a video line producer at a newsroom / public relations film, commercial production company, ad agency, live event video production. .
  • You have experience producing a wide spectrum of content, including TV commercials, social content, on camera interviews, short form documentaries and unscripted formats. . 
  • You have strong leadership abilities and can lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated project and budget management skills, and a proven track record of influencing the creative output.
  • You are an experienced leader with a track record of influencing and motivating others at all levels, a great teammate, and a consensus builder. 
  • You exercise a high degree of influence and have the ability to impact the team performance of subordinates, managers, peers, and executive management.
  • You have relationships with the production community that bring an in-depth knowledge of crew and production resources. Work with the Video Producer pool and creative teams to explore and identify quality vendors, talent, and production workflows. 
  • You can work with multiple partners and negotiate agreements amidst varying opinions.
  • You can solve problems creatively and are able to compromise without impacting the work.
  • You are able to work upstream to anticipate and plan for changes.
  • You understand the Apple voice and aesthetic and can craft creative work that meets the organization’s expectations.
  • You are comfortable traveling both domestically and internationally, sometimes with minimal notice.

Description

  • Designs, implements, educates, and drives the most effective and efficient global production processes for an ever-changing, fast-paced working environment.
  • Runs end-to-end video production, driving logistics and executing flawlessly on time and within budget.
  • Prepare bid packages consisting of cover letter, AICP bid in Showbiz, and timeline.
  • Knowledge of Union and Non-union rules, production accounting, and business affairs best practices. 
  • Drives clear and consistent communication without overwhelming the team. We work as a team to champion Apple brand standards in all aspects of creative work, and acts as an advocate for creative excellence.
  • Finds creative ways to increase efficiency with production dollars and push suppliers and vendors to deliver more exciting work in an optimal way.
  • Clearly articulates our budgets, tracks our expenses, shows how our costs have evolved, and explains the story behind it. 
  • Produce award-winning, innovative, and meaningful work.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
