Description:

Creative Producer, Apple TV+ Marketing

Culver City, CA, United States, Marketing

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations team within AppleTV+ Marketing is tasked with building processes/workflows, managing budgets, and facilitating all creative production in partnership with our creative teams. Within Operations, our Creative Producer works in lockstep with our Design Creative team, specifically our Creative Directors, as well as our Art Directors, Post team, Strategy leads, internal designers, and various cross functional partners, ensuring all key art, OOH, TVApp art, title treatments, theatrical posters, and various other assets, deliverables, and files are produced & delivered in support of our AppleTV+ original series and films. In short, they keep the trains running on time and on budget, while ensuring all static creative goes from a PDF in an email to a pristine billboard on Sunset.

More tactically, the Creative Producer manages multiple agency partners in parallel, while maintaining budgets, deliverables, schedules, and feedback comms – keeping internal teams and stakeholders informed of any and all updates.

Key art is among the most impactful pieces of creative in an entertainment marketing campaign – some of the most famous images in film and television history has been artwork. The Creative Producer brings that work to life.

Responsibilities

  • Produce & project manage all facets of static artwork – from initial kick off through approvals and final delivery.
  • Elevate the Design team creative by defining and driving all workflow, execution, and production processes and strategies.
  • Lead multiple projects in parallel, prioritizing and communicating action items across competing deadlines and campaigns.
  • Serve as the source of truth & central hub for all creative status information, updating tools, decks, and documents with dates, schedules, and next steps.
  • Bridge all creative and logistical conversations, ensuring a keen understanding of the cause and effect nature of creative and strategic decision making as it impacts the broader process and workflow.
  • Seeing around corners to recognize potential challenges – whether they be legal, financial, approval, or deadline-related – and actioning accordingly.
  • Build a timeline and budget – often while information is still ambiguous and evolving
  • Maintain a nimble and flexible approach, often in the face of many changes, delays, or pivots.
  • Update all budget information and ensure title budgets and quarterly estimates are accurate and timely – requesting POs, processing change orders, tracking actuals, and forecasting estimates
  • Identify and drive efficiencies across an extremely high volume of assets and deliverables
  • Brainstorm new ways of working to continually scale our production workflows

Key Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience producing and project managing creative assets
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time and on-budget, while positively collaborating with a range of creative partners
  • Experience briefing and managing creative agencies and/or agency experience managing high level clients – preferably across entertainment marketing
  • A passion and excitement for entertainment, the creative process, and figuring out the “how” across a multitude of complex issues
  • Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, flexible, and communicative.
  • The ability to think bigger picture strategy, but also problem solve for tactical challenges.
  • Unflappable under pressure and tight timelines & thrives working in a fast-paced, creatively driven environment
  • A keen understanding of how to consistently move a project forward in the face of delays, pivots, and ambiguities
