Custom Content Production Manager
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Creative Production Manager to lead the execution and delivery of marketing campaign assets across the Apple TV+ programming slate. In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with the Custom Content Marketing team overseeing campaign development in order to drive the operational workflow from kickoff through delivery—owning timelines, budgets, and asset finishing in support of our creative, marketing, and cross-functional partners. This role calls for a proactive problem solver with expert knowledge of video production and post production workflows and a nimble, strategic thinker who is comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day communications between Custom Content Creative and cross-functional partners to create detailed campaign timelines with clear asset requirements and delivery milestones.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, contingency plans, and cost alignment with strategic goals.
- Track progress across all marketing touchpoints—including social, platform, paid media, digital, international, and broadcast—ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to spec.
- Run point with the Finishing team to prioritize assets and manage post-production workflows.
- Proactively troubleshoot production and post-production issues, escalating where needed to keep campaigns on track.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships from onboarding through invoicing, ensuring seamless day-to-day project management and financial oversight.
- Provide ongoing visibility into campaign spending, articulating variances, rationales, and budget allocation decisions to leadership
- Act as a thought partner to creative leads, supporting the campaign strategy with operational excellence and scalable solutions.
Key Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in creative production, project management, or marketing operations—preferably within entertainment, media, or creative agencies.
- Expert knowledge of video production and post-production processes across platform, social, digital, and paid distributions.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, high-profile campaigns with large budgets and tight timelines.
- Extensive experience working across cross-functional teams and aligning multiple stakeholders around a shared production vision.
- Proven ability to manage asset workflows, timelines, vendors, and campaign execution at scale.
- High attention to detail, organizational excellence, and confidence juggling multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced working knowledge of tools like Airtable, Excel, Google Suite, Asana, or similar platforms.
