Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
The Marcom Post Production Department (PPD) is a full-service post production organization comprised of the following devisions: creative editorial, grading, audio, and visual effects. The PPD teams have a sense of pride in the work being produced, a shared sense of purpose as a group and is known for delivering the highest quality creative. The ideal candidate is highly creative, strong technically, and has a proven track record of delivering on large scale productions.
Our post production Visual Effects Coordinators work closely with all members of the VFX team, (Flame/Nuke/Silhouette artists, VFX Producers) and liaise with internal post divisions. VFX Coordinators work closely with VFX Producers to prepare schedules, create shot lists, establish workflows, and track editorial and VFX shot progress. VFX Coordinators ensure the highest quality control through post production, archiving and project wrap. Essential skills: effective communicator, highly organized, detail-oriented.
Key Qualifications:
- You have at least 3+ years of experience as a VFX Coordinator at a picture finishing house, in-house Agency or Production Company VFX department.
- You collaborate and partner closely with VFX artists (Flame/Nuke/Silhouette) to manage project milestones from concept to final master delivery.
- You have knowledge and experience in the following fields: broadcast, web, social, and large scale event deliverables.
- You have an understanding of the post production pipeline: offline, online & conform, general 2D VFX workflows, animation and color.
- You have experience with supervised sessions with clients.
- You have an understanding of devices, frame rates, compression schemes, file formats.
- You have experience with VFX Department responsibilities such as: maintaining VFX Stats Database, Artists Calendars, Project Calendars, Artist Seating, Artist Scheduling
- You have experience tracking content.
- You have a fine eye for the details.
- You have experience in quality checking shots frame by frame.
- You assist in both micro and macro project scheduling.
- You play a key role in scheduling VFX department resources and freelance staffing.
- You solve problems creatively, quickly and calmly.
- You are able to work on multiple projects with ease.
