We oversee all of the company’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications and experiences.
The Channel Cross-functional (XF) team within our group is responsible for the strategic alignment, cross-functional integration and execution of the company’s marketing communications work for the indirect channel.
The Channel XF Manager, Platforms role will act as a key point of integration and accountability for our in-store initiatives including physical and digital experiences in both the company and partner spaces.
As a Channel XF Manager, Platforms, you will have the opportunity to ensure our work is supporting overarching channel business goals, to partner with other team members to continually enhance how the team works together. You will be a key connector across teams both within and outside of the company, allowing you to influence and lead many key channel in-store initiatives.
In this role you will
- Synthesize inputs and facilitate alignment with brief owner(s), strategists and key partners to develop suggested project plans and approaches
- Actively engage and plan with all teams (Brand, Partner Comms, 3DVM, Design, Interactive, Video, Geos) to seamlessly lead Channel work through the company
- Develop deep collaboration and relationships with key teams across the company (Product Marketing, Sales, CSO, Ops) to support platform (physical + digital) work that meets brand, partner, and commercial objectives
- Serve as a central point of contact and integrator of Channel Platforms related initiatives & deliverables across the company & teams (Brand, Partner Comms, Product Marketing, Channel Sales and Functional teams) to ensure ongoing alignment of deliverables from brief to execution
- Own day-to-day responsibilities which include status documents, PORs, meeting invites and deliverable trackers to ensure on-time project delivery
- Identify new ways of working and evolve approaches for taking on work as the marketing roadmap, channel/partner landscape, and marketing strategies and deliverables evolve
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with proven effectiveness when working under pressure
- Organized, resourceful, efficient, adaptable, and results-oriented and can solve complicated problems with a positive attitude
- Works well autonomously, and can proactively ask for help if running into roadblocks
- Proven ability to build rapport, credibility and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders to get results
- Able to balance working in a creatively driven organization with an integrated, analytical and disciplined approach to marketing
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (keynote) and can communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to organize information quickly and at a high level for different audiences, including identifying and documenting pain points with respective solutions
- Experience in developing and representing marketing communications strategies and strategic frameworks that encompass a broad range of marketing/messaging touch points and deliverables
- Ability to understand customer behavior in-store, pull insights from relevant teams and partnerships in order to enhance the our work from a customer point of view.
- Hands-on experience working with both creative, business and production teams; Retail Brand Marketing discipline preferred
