The Screens Design Systems Production Designer will execute high-volume asset assembly using a Smart Object-based Design System, producing 75-100 marketing assets weekly across the Apple device ecosystem. Working under the guidance of the Screens Design Systems Producer, this position focuses on building global components with campaign-specific content to create pixel-perfect assets at extreme resolutions (4x to 32x device size). The role requires exceptional speed and accuracy in Photoshop-based production, with each designer responsible for contributing to the quarterly delivery of thousands of unique assets that cascade into localized files across 23+ languages.

Experience:
- 10+ years of production design experience in an agency or in-house corporate graphic design environment.
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, and Cloud Libraries.

- Design Systems Asset Assembly; execute 75-100 creative briefs weekly using Smart Object components from Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries.
- Combine global UI elements (navigation bars, tab bars, system UI) with campaign-specific content.
- Apply Layer Comps to manage Light/Dark/Clear/Tint themes and device-specific layouts.
- Work with PSDs at extreme resolutions (up to 32x).
- Quality Control & Compliance; Perform device reference overlay checks ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Verify text layer naming conventions for automation tool compatibility.
- Ensure safe area compliance for all Apple devices (Dynamic Island, notches, home indicators).
- Validate correct version usage of linked Smart Objects from the component library.
- Update Digital Twin JSON metadata for production tracking.
- Receive daily production assignments from Screens Design Systems Producer based on priority queue.
- Escalate component issues or update needs to Screens Design Systems Producer for cascade planning.
- Participate in weekly sync meetings on component updates and their downstream impacts.
- Follow Producer, Design Systems technical documentation for Smart Object linking strategies.
- Report production bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities to optimize the pipeline.

- Proficiency with Photoshop Smart Objects (linked vs embedded understanding).
- Experience working with Creative Cloud Libraries in production environments.
- Ability to handle and optimize large PSD files without performance degradation.
- Understanding of Layer Comps for variant management.
- Familiarity with batch processing and Actions for repetitive tasks.

- Experience with template-based production workflows.
- Understanding of localization requirements (text expansion, RTL considerations).
