Job Summary:

 

The Digital Artist - Lighter develops CG images and animations. He or she participates in shading, lighting, and compositing.


This role sits in the CG Studio and is part of a Global Marketing Communications group, encompassing a team of artists and producers. We provide support for our internal and cross functional partners, including Motion Production: Retail, Channel and Events, Video Production, Keynote, Interactive, and a variety of internal projects.

The Digital Artist should have artistic sensibilities that push the creative boundaries of our projects, Creating visually dynamic motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms, while adhering to project specifications and timelines. 
 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

The candidate ideally has a passion for work in the creative and design field. He or she  has experience with shading, lighting and compositing, experience in V-Ray, Maya, Nuke is a must. Experience in Photoshop a plus.

 

Presentation Work is typically done within small teams under tight deadlines, so strong communication skills are required, as is coolness under pressure, resourcefulness, ingenuity in solving problems, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and cope with rapid change.

 

Candidate will have strong communication, writing, presentation, social and creative skills. You often work with external groups or departments. Because of that it is important that you collaborate well with different roles and levels in their organizations. You should be analytical and help to solve complex issues using artistic concepts and solutions. You should also be a self-starter and ready to deal with the sometimes ambiguous nature of project management.

 

 

 

Education

 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Photoshop and 3D software
