The 3DVM team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of the Marcom group’s initiatives and creative intent. Our responsibilities include developing and deploying complex visual merchandising strategy, fixtures, furniture, and in-store solutions for our worldwide retail and channel partners.
We are looking for a store planning designer to support the creative development and architectural implementation of store design for our Branded Programs in Channel environments.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience in retail architecture, design and/or construction management, preferably in store design and planning for a leading retailer or global brand.
- Demonstrated experience in store design and layout and fixture planning, and project management skills with a strong understanding of customer journey and visual merchandising in retail store design.
- Detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational and project management skills who is able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time.
- Superior written and verbal communication expertise with highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Requires proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software) and Adobe Suite
- Strong preference for additional proficiency in Rhino or similar 3D visualization software
Description:
- Partner closely with the 3DVM Creative Director and Store Planning Associate Creative Director, as well as other Marcom, Sales, Planning and Operations teams, to develop store planning strategies for Apple branded programs.
- Responsible for the store planning design and layout creation process, from design development to initial brief to completed design kit.
- Consult on exception requests and contribute creative explorations that provide tactical solutions to POS level store design while maintaining global quality and consistency.
- Oversee agency drawing teams to maintain work flow and approve renders, drawings and store design kits.
- Assist with development of program standards, playbook configurations and store design guidelines to ensure consistent implementation of creative vision.
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandising and 3DVM Design teams to develop the customer journey for new programs and fixtures that meet experience goals while providing a robust toolkit for store planning.
Education:
Bachelor of Architecture or other relevant BA/BS degree preferred
