Job Summary

The Newsroom team creates powerful imagery to enhance breaking news stories and social videos in collaboration with Communications teams across the globe. We manage end-to-end original photography and fine art production, executing flawlessly, on time and within budget. We drive clear and consistent communication, helping everyone stay informed without overwhelming the teams. We act as a champion of our brand standards in all aspects of creative work.

Responsibilities

The candidate will partner with Creative Director for Newsroom and PR stakeholders to create a wide range of impactful visuals which can include photography, illustrations, and video. Additionally, they will develop production timelines that align with the editorial calendar. Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from a variety of departments.

  • Collaborate with the team to explore and identify new up and coming photographers, illustrators, videographers, casting talent, and stylists.
  • Take projects from creative development to final execution, managing both budget and timing against creative expectations.
  • Build and manage relationships with the production community that bring an in-depth knowledge of resources, crew, and production vendors.
  • Manage contract execution and negotiations.
  • Directly responsible for project budget oversight and change orders.
  • Excellent on-site and remote management of productions, creative partners, and crew.
  • Knowledge of the major aspects of video production from creative development to digital workflows, and post production.
  • The ideal candidate is a quick study—especially with technical details.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid expertise in producing creative content in a variety of photo-driven campaigns, across a broad range of areas
  • including Advertising, Interactive, Retail and Channel, Keynote and Packaging.
  • Prior still/motion production and post-production experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project and budget management skills.
  • A proven track record of influencing the creative output.
  • Expertly manage projects in accordance with Apple security and confidentiality policies.
  • Understand the voice and aesthetic and can shape creative work that meets the organization’s expectations.
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must have a valid passport with an expiration date at least two years from hire date. You are comfortable traveling sometimes with minimal notice.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or meaningful experience is required.

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Preferred years of experience : 10+ Years
  • Travel Required : 50% and more
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
