Summary
Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. The Marcom 3DVM team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of the Marcom group’s initiatives and creative intent. Our responsibilities include developing and deploying complex visual merchandising presentations, fixtures, furniture, and solutions for Apple’s worldwide retail and channel partners.
Apple is looking for a mid to senior level visual merchandiser to support the creative and tactical development of product presentation strategies and merchandising standards and guidelines in Apple’s Channel environments.
You will be responsible for the development of merchandising strategies for both Apple products and accessories that define the customer journey, reinforce brand messaging and maximize sales.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience in developing Visual Merchandising strategy, preferably with a leading retailer or global brand
- You have the ability to create and easily speak to the strategies behind and the benefits of strong visual merchandising
- You are a creative, detail-oriented problem solver with demonstrated skill in Visual Merchandising
- You have strong visual and oral presentation skills
- Process-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine tuning details
- Cross-functional agility and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or visualization software are a strong plus
Description:
- Develop visual merchandising strategies for new product launches and seasonal initiatives in close partnership with 3DVM Creative Director, Visual Merchandising Manager, Apple Product Marketing, Marcom Brand and Cross-Functional teams and WW Channel Sales, Planning and Operations team
- Conceptualize new and unique customer touch points through product story telling and displays
- Provide expert merchandising knowledge of all of Apple’s lines of business and Channel routes-to- market to guide the design of product presentation tools, fixtures and environments
- Work closely with Cross-Functional NPI Readiness team to ensure effective implementation of visual merchandising strategies and priorities at product launches
- Provide 3DVM Store Planning team with guidance to ensure proper translation of visual merchandising strategies and priorities into branded Channel environments
- Develop and maintain global visual merchandising guidelines and product presentation standards for Apple in Channel environments. Partner with the WWCSP training team to develop training materials and conduct visual merchandising workshops as needed.
- Provide creative solutions to on-going business needs that drive sales and enhance the customer journey
Education:
- BA/BS or equivalent degree preferred.
