Role: Senior Program Manager, Marcom Security
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join Marcom's Security team as a contractor. This role will be responsible for maintaining security compliance, auditing access, and disclosures, and ensuring that all systems, data, and people operate within need-to-know boundaries. This role blends hands-on administrative management with data analysis in support of initiatives that support Marcom’s operational excellence. The role will also be responsible for providing regular analysis and reporting to senior Marcom leaders on key security performance indicators, performing root cause analysis of security incidents and driving remedial corrective actions, and guiding Marcom technology developers on the latest trends in artificial intelligence security.
Key Responsibilities
Security Governance and Compliance
- Maintain and continuously update disclosure lists, access lists, and permission records across internal systems, ensuring alignment with need-to-know and data-minimization principles.
- Conduct periodic access audits, tracking exceptions, follow-ups, and remediation activities in partnership with other cross functional teams in support of secrecy.
- Manage security compliance documentation and coordinate audits, assessments, and approvals.
- Draft preliminary incident reports and prepare drafts of executive reviews.
- Assist Marcom developers and engineers with meeting Apple Information Security requirements for internally developed tools and third party software.
- Provide guidance on artificial intelligence security requirements to Marcom technology developers.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze operational metrics to measure security performance and incident trends.
- Produce regular reporting for leadership that highlights risk areas, compliance progress, and efficiency opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement through data-driven insights that streamline controls and reduce manual workload.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations into security incidents and produce detailed reports.
- Translate root cause analysis into corrective actions and drive remedial work.
Administrative Coordination
- Ensure disclosure requests are processed in a timely manner and that requestors submit thorough and detailed requests.
- Maintain documentation, calendars, and process playbooks to ensure repeatable, well-governed execution.
- Act as a liaison between Security, IT, Legal, and People teams to ensure clear ownership and accountability across control areas.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 15+ years in security, operations, audit, compliance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of access control principles, data classification, and governance.
- 5+ years of experience in secrecy and security within the national security sector.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and process integrity.
- High discretion, confidentiality, trusted to manage sensitive information.
- Strong communication and writing skills; capable of producing clear reports and executive summaries.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream programs with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in large-scale organizations
- Demonstrated success in governance, security, or technology operations domains.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Wrike or similar enterprise project management platforms
- Advanced skills in project planning, management, and scheduling.
- Strong analytical abilities with experience creating executive-level reports and dashboards
- Proficiency in collaboration tools (Slack, Quip, etc.)
- Proficiency in AI for use in large data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification
