Job Summary

Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We lead all of Apple’s advertising and marketing efforts to ensure the considered development and execution of world-class communications.

The Social Project Managers are the quarterbacks of execution for social in Marcom. 

Shepherding cross functional integration of Apple's organic social presence during events on third-party platforms. They manage the workflow and creative development of social projects; while communicating roadblocks and continuously keeping the pulse on ways to improve. Social PMs make sure everything is running like clockwork and that our creatives, producers, and agency partners - are set up to make the best work of their lives.

Key Qualifications

  • You have 5 years of experience working cross functionally with internal marketing teams 
  • You have a deep cultural curiosity and connectedness, including extraordinary communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understand third-party Social Media platform-updates and best practices.
  • Your project and time management skills are excellent, you learn quickly, and you can accommodate rapid change.
  • You have the ability to organize information quickly and at a high level to address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward, keeping in mind the quality of the work and giving it room to develop.
  • You understand digital and video asset creation and approval cycles.
  • You are an inventive and enthusiastic problem solver, at ease with working in a dynamic, highly-matrixed organization.
  • You are familiar with Apple applications, including Mail, Numbers, Keynote, Pages, and Calendar.

Description

  • Manage daily executive reviews for Social and Advertising work across all internal teams at Marcom.  
  • Ensure all key takeaways and next steps from executive reviews are conveyed to appropriate internal teams as needed. Understanding how to properly distribute feedback and information is imperative at a company of this size. 
  • Oversee publishing calendar creation and distribution for all internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with brand product teams, advertising managers, PR, paid media, platform management, and analytics.
  • Organize all ad hoc publishing requests from internal and external agency partners. 

Eduction

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Preferred years of experience : 5+ Years
  • Travel Required : No travel required
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
