Description:

The Technical Production Lead will oversee the Graphic Production, Motion Graphic Production, and Image Production Studio teams, driving tools strategy and best practices across Marcom. This role works both internally and with agency partners to promote consistency, efficiency, and innovation, ensuring alignment across all production disciplines.

Working in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment, the Technical Production Lead will partner with Design, Development, Content Management, Digital Producers, Interactive GEO Leads/Producers, Screen Team, Screen Design, Content Production, CGS Pipeline, MP&S Tools, Geo Screens Production, QA, and Production Leadership. The goal is to advance the ongoing development of Marcom’s Production strategy and strengthen connections between teams, tools, and workflows.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships across internal teams and agency partners; monitoring status and progress of current and future Marcom processes; and playing a critical role in key projects. The Technical Production Lead will also be responsible for recommending strategies that further Marcom’s production goals, identifying opportunities to integrate tools and workflows that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partner closely with the Agency Technical Production Process Manager, Apple Tools teams, and other cross-functional partners to define, implement, and maintain best practices that address both internal processes and geo-localization needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and agency teams—including Apple FDS, Rome Council, Screen Producers, and Screen Design—to ensure Graphic Production, Motion Graphic Production, Screen Production, and Image Production Studio needs are fully understood and represented in new processes, workflows, and tool implementations.
  • Participate in workflow, process, and complexity discussions to identify technical challenges, propose mitigations, and support solutions that enable scale, speed, and creative excellence.
  • Drive productivity improvements through process optimization, task automation, adoption of new technology, and a solid understanding of AI principles to support design and production tasks.
  • Stay current on emerging technology, industry trends, and innovations in graphic and image production to inform strategy and inspire continuous improvement.
  • Elevate concerns and provide strategic recommendations in partnership with internal and agency teams to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen overall production capabilities.
  • Communicate workflow process updates, expectations, and technical requirements with GEO Interactive and GEO Content Leads to ensure alignment on localization and GEO origination work.

Experience

  • 6+ years experience in a hands-on, high-volume interactive production environment
  • Deep understanding of web-production workflow and best practices as they relate to design, QA, GEO localization and transcreation
  • Ability to effectively problem solve technical challenges, creative design and production design
  • Experience of defining automation strategies (and execution of) demonstrating clear efficiency and productivity gains
  • Solid technical skills including Photoshop and motion graphics software
  • Deep understanding of web-production workflow, best practices as it relates to interactive design and production
  • Enthusiasm for exploring evolving graphic production best practices
  • Strong, audience-oriented presentation skills
  • Proactive approach with strong sense of ownership
  • Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key stakeholders and successfully managing relationship-building dynamics and processes
  • Excellent design, typography and art-working sensibilities applicable to interactive web pages, HTML emails, banners and other digital deliverables
  • Effective communication with team members of varying disciplines including written documentation of pipeline processes and potential challenges and solutions
  • Able to balance assertiveness and sensitivity, diplomacy and patience, while promoting communication and teamwork
    Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail (visual and technical)
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
