Description
In this role you will provide strong logistics and project management skills, and the ability to maintain schedules for color management and R&D for evolving emerging print technologies as well as driving the print team’s environmental compliance. The range of projects range from small scope projects with short schedules to multi-year projects that encompass multiple stakeholders within Print Production but also other cross functional teams. Technologies include inkjet, lithography, flexography, sublimation, screen printing, UV and DTFilm among others.
Responsibilities
- Build schedules and timelines for print production projects, and adjust as needed to accommodate findings, new data, and moving targets and changing scope. Project scope can also include color management, environmental compliance, and other research productions.
- Help define milestones, metrics, and risk assessment for each project
- Schedule and drive progress meetings for each initiative, record action items and provide progress status to project team
- Track project budget, monitor PO spend and costs-to-date to ensure projects are on track and within budget. Report discrepancies and flag possible issues to project lead.
- Work with cross functional teams, vendors and OEMs to monitor outside progress and schedule collaboration meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years minimum of project management experience within a creative agency or print production environment equivalent, managing print projects of all types (litho, large format, etc) from concept through execution.
- Strong organization and logistical skills
- Ability to drive workflows, creative shares and schedules across multiple teams
- Collaborates well with both internal and external partners
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
- Extremely detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills
- Excel/Numbers - spreadsheet proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation of SOP, best practices, users guides and quickstart guides
- Advanced spreadsheet skills including pivot tables, formulas and chart plotting
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Functional knowledge of Wrike and other project management tools a plus
