VIDEO EDITOR
Job Summary:
CGS is Marcom’s animation production studio, encompassing a team of artists and producers. We provide support for our internal and cross functional partners, including Motion Production: Retail, Channel and Events, Video Production, Keynote, Interactive, and a variety of internal projects.
CGS has a sense of pride in the work being produced, a shared sense of purpose as a group and is known for delivering the highest quality creative. The ideal candidate is highly creative, strong technically, and has a proven track record of delivering small to large scale productions.
The Video Editor should have artistic sensibilities, strong storytelling ability (visual storytelling), technical expertise in all aspects of post production, experience editing video content for social media, ads, and other digital platforms. Knowledge of 2D/3D animation, and versioning.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 10+ years of experience at an offline editorial house, in-house advertising agency, or in-house commercial production company.
- Collaborate and partner closely with animation team, producers and creatives from ideation through to final master delivery.
- Have deep knowledge and experience both creatively and technically in following fields: broadcast, interactive, and event deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- You have a deep understanding of the post production pipeline: offline, online & conform, general compositing, time/speed morphs, project archiving and mixing.
- You have a proven understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro.)
- Expertise in motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video production.
- Knowledge of current video trends, formats, and best practices for different platforms.
- You will have extraordinary communication and relationship skills, including collaborating cross-functionally both up and down within the organization.

- We work to build and own effective strategies the address the creative needs for a variety of work including different styles and needs across Marcom.
- We have the ability to visualize the creative team’s vision in the early concepting stage and continual ideation with the team throughout the edit.
- We act as a champion of brand standards in all aspects of creative work.
Education
Bachelor's Degree is recommended
Qualifications/ Licensure:
- Preferred years of experience : 10+ Years
- Travel Required : No travel required- Hybrid / Onsite 3 days p/wk Tues-Thurs
- Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
