In the role of Creative Director, Writing you empower a team of talented writers, art directors, and ACD’s to create concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. You have a deep love of our products. Your work will influence our customers worldwide.
Key Qualifications
- You have 15+ years of experience writing copy, providing creative direction, conception, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.
- You have created work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film and video.
- You are passionate about excellent writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring.

Description
- Strategic thinker and communicator with proven experience in creative work across media, editorial, design, art direction, copywriting.
- Reinforce the voice of the Apple brand, working to make sure that we are present in important cultural conversations with a distinctive POV across all content and platforms.
- Exceptional creative, strategic orientation, and dynamic storytelling skills.
- Ensure creative ideas are well-articulated and on-brief.
- Proven experience in video content: from conceptual to post production.
- Provide ideation and direction on all tentpoles, features, quarterly Event initiatives across platforms.
- Partner with broad cross functional team : Strategy, Media, photo/design, brand, PR, Corp Comms, Retail to develop an integrated long-lead content planning scope and cross platform content packages.
- Content origination: Find and develop stories to tell across all media to support Events.
- Talent curation: Actively maintain a talent archive that aligns with the creative goals of Apple Events.
- Astute distillation of current cultural trends and forecasting of future trends .
- Provide high-level guidance and support to content leads in Geo markets.
- Help identify the role of content formats in the marketing mix and the consumer/ audience experience.
- Experience in applying content development to brand-building initiatives
- Comfortable working in a new and growing function at Marcom, where speed, flexibility, and experimentation are part of the day-to-day.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required.
