The marketing communications group is responsible for developing breakthrough marketing campaigns that incorporate all communications disciplines. As an Art Director, you'll work under the guidance of an Associate Creative Director, and in collaboration with other creative and technical disciplines, to bring the story of our groundbreaking products to life on our website, retail stores and partner digital channels. You’ll brainstorm, coordinate, and collaborate with a project team to explore concepts and iterate on design solutions. You will follow the work from concept through production and delivery ensuring it adheres to our standard of quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Executes high-quality design work on assigned projects.
- Designing and maintaining marketing deliverables across our website, and iOS / HTML global platforms in our Retail Stores and Channel partner stores, to align to project goals, creative direction, and templates.
- Troubleshooting new ideas or executions as needed, enhancing existing experiences and optimizing content for new product initiatives, working within process to define technical specifications.
- Partner closely with front-end engineering to deliver best-in class experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of industry experience in interactive/digital marketing communications industry.
- A portfolio that showcases strategic insight and visual design talent for a range of digital experiences including web, mobile, and/or app.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative development when necessary.
- Skilled with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch. Experience with motion and 3D software is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of web production and basic front-end engineering skills.
- Strong communicator, able to articulate ideas with clarity, engage in healthy debate, and accept directional feedback.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace and to deliver quality work at a high volume in a tight timeframe.
- Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners on creative concepts and collaborating well with a team to find solutions to complex problems.
- Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills, willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes.
- Demonstrates strong diplomatic skills to actively engage in healthy debate with partners and peers.
- Strong understanding of data science metrics and customer journey.
Education
Preferred: BA or BFA in Graphic Design (or equivalent).
