Description

Marcom Print Production is seeking a Program Manager to lead day-to-day technical coordination and R&D program execution across a global vendor network spanning multiple regions. This role drives color accuracy, process standardization, and the adoption of next-generation proofing and display calibration technologies that protect the visual integrity of Apple's marketing materials worldwide.

AI tools are fast reshaping the productivity landscape. We need a strong innovator proficient in leveraging these tools to create better communication pathways such as custom project dashboards and distill complex concepts into infographics for a wider audience.
Program & Project Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of active R&D tasks distributed across the team, spanning RGB workflow development, remote proofing implementation, expanded gamut proofing, and display calibration programs
  • Drive weekly team meetings, vendor syncs, and executive status reporting; prepare and distribute agendas, recaps, and communications to management and program stakeholders, x-cross functional teams and external vendors
  • Protect and manage team resources, time, and bandwidth — filtering extraneous projects, redirecting non-R&D requests to appropriate channels, and ensuring focus remains on high-impact innovation work
  • Projects range from small scopes with short schedules to multi-year projects that encompass multiple stakeholders within Print Production but also other cross functional teams. Technologies include inkjet, lithography, flexography, sublimation, screen printing, UV and DTFilm among others

AI Innovation & Productivity Tooling:

  • Design and build AI-powered productivity tools to automate team workflows, including meeting-to-task pipelines, executive status generation, and project status digests. Build tools and dashboards for project tracking, vendor status, and automated reporting
  • Explore and evaluate emerging AI capabilities for application in print production, color analysis, and project management contexts
  • Share findings, AI skills and agents, automation processes and and serve as internal SME in AI productivity tools when applied to color management sphere

Process Development & Knowledge Management:

  • Develop SOPs for color measurement, calibration, vendor certification, and disaster recovery
  • Architect end-to-end process documentation for new technologies — flowcharts, diagrams, formal procedures, and presentation materials — and socialize across internal teams and external vendors
  • Translate existing complex technical documentation into user-friendly guides for distribution to vendors, cross-functional partners, and internal team members
  • Monitor security protocols and realign workflows to comply with evolving Apple policies and data handling requirements
  • Maintain existing Wrike project management infrastructure and integrate with evolving internal AI agents/tools
  • Support color management team members with production of diagnostic and visual test forms

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years minimum of project management experience within a creative agency or print production environment equivalent, managing print projects of all types (litho, large format, etc) from concept through execution
  • Strong organization and logistical skills for collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Ability to drive workflows, creative shares and schedules across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written, with detail oriented follow-through
  • Excel/Numbers - spreadsheet proficiency
  • Proficiency working in Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Functional knowledge of Wrike and other project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ICC framework for Color Management including ISO standards as well as Adobe Creative Cloud integration
  • Proficient in use of AI tools including models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google and can leverage the appropriate model for the task at hand
  • Vibe coding capable to build and distribute AI tools to the greater department
