Our creative and technical team is looking for an experienced re-recording mixer to support our Audio Lead in the development and delivery of next-generation immersive video experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surround and immersive mixing for both traditional and non-traditional media, and a curiosity in adapting these workflows to new media formats.
Description
The Rerecording Mixer will join an in-house sound team and will work closely with our Audio Lead. You will collaborate with clients, internal and external partners and the sound team to craft immersive soundscapes that set a new bar for the medium. Initially, you will focus on creating detailed predubs, while gradually taking on final mixes as you become more familiar with our workflows and tools. Beyond mixing, you will contribute meaningfully to sound editorial, advise on spatial audio capture and monitoring decisions upstream of the mix stage, and help architect new workflows — including tooling, automation, and delivery specifications — for immersive content creation.

- Proficiency with Pro Tools, S6 and similar large-format control surfaces, and immersive mixing workflows and tools
- Deep knowledge of broadcast and streaming specs and standards, with the ability to evaluate and document internal specs where external standards are absent or evolving
- Proven ability to evaluate, adopt, and contribute feedback on pre-release tools and workflows still in active development, including partnering with engineering teams on tool requirements
- Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, partners, engineers, and leads
- Hands-on sound editing experience; comfort moving between editorial, predub, and final mix responsibilities
Additional Requirements
- Scripting and workflow automation experience (Python or equivalent) to streamline repetitive pipeline tasks, validate deliverables, or extend DAW/tooling functionality strongly preferred
