Description:

Channel and Partner Media Strategist

About the Role

We're looking for an expert Media Planner to oversee the briefing, planning, execution and measurement of our Channel and Carrier Partner media plans. You'll ensure every plan aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, budget parameters and legal/compliance requirements. You'll establish a measurement and reporting framework to understand and communicate the impact of the work effectively to non-media stakeholders.

This role sits at the intersection of media strategy, channel execution, and cross-functional communications, owning the review and approval of media plans before they go live. You'll be operating with a high degree of autonomy and need sound independent judgment.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end review and approval of media plans submitted by Carrier and Channel teams, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strategic alignment
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the worldwide paid media team, Channel leads, and external partners on plan approvals and revisions
  • Partner closely with Channel Comms to ensure media plans reflect current messaging, creative, and brand standards
  • Independently identify inconsistencies, risks, or gaps in proposed plans (budget allocation, targeting, flighting, compliance) and drive resolution with stakeholders, escalating only where judgment calls require leadership input
  • Design, maintain, and evolve the approval workflow/process, ensuring plans move efficiently from submission to sign-off
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners to streamline plan submissions and feedback loops
  • Lead continuous improvement of media planning templates, guidelines, and approval criteria across the team
  • Own effectiveness measurement

What You Bring

  • Proactive, self-sufficient, curious and engaged
  • 7-10 years of experience in media planning with a track record of increasing scope and autonomy, in agency and in-house paid media teams
  • Deep understanding of paid media channels, including retail media networks, and how plans are structured and measured
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working cross-functionally across internal and external partners
  • High attention to detail and strong judgment when operating within brand, legal, and budget guardrails
  • Ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Strategic nous: translating media metrics to actionable insights
  • Diplomatic but firm, able to push back on plans that don't meet standards while preserving strong partner relationships

Hours may fluctuate based on project needs.
