Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure
the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. Apple Newsroom breaks news about Apple products
and initiatives; Newsroom is the official word from Apple about the brand. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide
both new and existing customers with simple, engaging, and inspiring marketing experiences.
The Apple Newsroom team creates powerful imagery to enhance breaking news stories and social videos in collaboration with
Communications teams across the globe. We manage end-to-end original photography , motion, and fine art productions,
executing flawlessly , on time, and within budget. We drive clear and consistent communication, helping everyone stay informed
without overwhelming the teams. We act as a champion of Apple brand standards in all aspects of creative work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will partner with Newsroom Producers, Creative Director, and PR stakeholders to create a wide range of
impactful motion deliverables. Additionally , they will develop production timelines that align with the editorial calendar.
Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from a variety of departments across Apple.
Work collaboratively with the production and creative team to drive decision-making that achieves both the project goals
and company values.
Create and manage a cross-department timeline tracking milestones and managing deliverables.
Review rough cuts and provide actionable feedback to editors.
Coordinate with external vendors for color grading or sound mixing.
Identify efficiencies, best practices, and process improvements for capture workflows.
Drive the team towards clarity when ambiguity exists on a new deliverable type or department innovation.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience as a post-producer at an offline editorial house, in-house advertising
agency , or production company .
A proven track record of influencing the creative output.
Mastery of devices, including iPhone, frame rates, compression schemes, file formats, and cameras.
Skilled at working with creative teams and maintains an appreciation for and understanding of the creative process.
Strong knowledge of today’s live experience landscape and emerging technologies with experience constantly evolving
the process for efficiencies.
Must have a valid passport with an expiration date at least two years from hire date. Y ou are comfortable traveling
sometimes with minimal notice.
SOFTWARE
Proficiency in Premiere, Final Cut, QuickTime, DaVinci Resolve and QuickTime.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s degree or meaningful experience is required.
