In the role of Creative Director, Writer you empower a team of talented writers, art directors, and ACD’s to create concepts across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. You have a deep love of our products. Your work will influence our customers worldwide.
Key Qualifications
- You have 10+ years of experience writing copy, providing creative direction, concepting, and producing for major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns.
- You have created work in the mediums of advertising, social media, conceptual campaigns, product launches, branding, photography, film and video.
- You are passionate about excellent writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring.
- You dream of working in a creative and dynamic environment and embrace the opportunity to continuously enhance the brand.
- You have an eye for compelling writing and the ability to create a powerful story through the work.
- You are deeply fluent in social media culture and platforms, with a genuine understanding of how content lives and performs on TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms. You don't just understand social, you live it.
- You have a strong pulse on today's creator economy and understand how creators, artists, and cultural voices shape the way audiences discover and engage with content.
- You are culturally tapped in across music, film, art, illustration, and design. You're aware of what's trending, what's timeless, and what's next.
- You bring bold, subversive thinking to every brief, consistently finding the unexpected angle that makes work impossible to ignore.
- You have experience concepting and producing short-form, platform-native content that feels authentic to each channel rather than repurposed from other mediums.
- You understand the nuances of speaking to a Gen Z audience and know the difference between brands that are genuinely culturally fluent and those that are trying too hard.
Description
- Writes, reviews, and empowers campaigns for the brand and products.
- Presents work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and Apple executives.
- Collaborates with CD/Art Directors to concept ideas and co-direct teams.
- Works across disciplines to integrated strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising and new mediums of communication.
- Works with project managers and creative directors to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met.
- Concepts and directs social-first campaigns that feel native to the platforms they live on, with a deep understanding of what resonates with today's audiences.
- Stays ahead of cultural moments, creative trends, and platform shifts to ensure the work always feels current and relevant.
- Collaborates with and provides creative direction to external creators, talent, and cultural voices to bring campaigns to life authentically.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required.
Hours may fluctuate on project needs.
