Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Film Producer, with a specialized background adept in film production. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end content creation and interactive campaign production processes across the Apple Services marketing initiatives for Marcom LA. More specifically:

  • Produce broadcast quality video and motion content from concept to final deliverables
  • This will require the ability to understand the nuances of the Creative concepts and identify a diverse pool of appropriate world class talent to bring vision to life.
  • Partner with the creative team to help shape and develop approach to concepts as it pertains to production implications and best practices.
  • Lead regular production-related project meetings (kick-offs, status, Creative reviews, etc), and communicates action steps and updates to the broader team
  • Ability to independently manage budgets, scope, production and post-production partners for assigned projects
  • Plan, manage, and communicate internal and external workflows, ensuring an effective exchange of information, scope and set of locked deliverables.
  • Oversee vendor paperwork (including NDAs, bids, SOWs, advance requests, invoices etc.)
  • Define project scope with internal and external partners - updating and advising on costs, schedule and resources
  • Lead and manage process of film and content production, ensuring effective communications and workflows, exchange of information and highly crafted asset deliverables.
  • Ensure all deliverables are executed to the highest production value, meeting creative expectations in balance with marketing objectives while adhering to established timelines and budget.
  • Anticipate and eliminate time-sensitive bottlenecks and produce high-quality creative expediently
  • Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure that we’re delivering against asks while creating an environment that allows for innovation
  • Partner with BA and legal to secure usage rights, assess risk, and clearance of assets for distribution.
  • Work closely with internal and external partner teams to identify more efficient workflows
  • Experience in managing clear briefs to ensure that key internal and external stakeholders are aligned.
  • Ability to build relationships with your Content and Product counterparts to ensure that the creative that is being developed is thoughtful of all channel partner needs.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience acting as a lead producer with a focus on film in a creatively-driven advertising agency or internal creative team 
  • Expert knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns, film production, content creation and overall production processes.
  • Expert knowledge and experience producing of Union + Non Union Productions (DAG, SAG, IATSE)
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience
  • Strategic thinker with strong creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to live between ten thousand feet and thirty thousand feet to not only fulfill against daily needs, but to think more holistically about opportunities for efficiency.
  • Established network of world-class creative, production, editorial, animation, VFX and post production partners 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple vendor relationships and defining a highly diverse partner roster.
  • Ability to create bids, SOW’s, manage budgets,  negotiate costs efficiently with third party vendors, create PR’s, PO’s and track spend.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication skills
  • Experience articulating creative intent to others and proactively organizing partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Ability to execute creative ideas and communications across a variety of mediums from film, social, digital a plus.

Hours may fluctuate on project needs.
