Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We are the creative organization responsible for all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the detailed development and execution of world-class communications. The Operations team empowers Marcom's creativity by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and governance across our global organization and processes.

Governance & Technology Operations is an essential function within Marcom's Operations team, driving the strategy, guidance and execution of governance programs across Security, Vendor Governance, Tools Governance, and AI Governance. Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Policy Writing

  • Partner with subject matter experts across governance teams to source accurate policy information, capturing and documenting their knowledge and direction — the contractor serves as the writer and communicator of policy content, not the policy owner

Technical Writing

  • Produce technical documentation, process articles, and user guides for internal tools, technologies, and workflows

Training Content Development

  • Collaborate with the Change Management & Success Management team to develop training content that supports the adoption of new policies, tools, and governance programs across the organization
  • Write instructional materials, learning guides, and supporting resources that enable Marcom teams to confidently apply governance standards in their day-to-day work

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Partner closely with Marcom Security, Marcom Vendor Governance, Marcom Tools Governance, Marcom AI Governance, and Change Management & Success Management teams to support their ongoing documentation needs
  • Manage incoming content requests, prioritize workload, and deliver polished written materials on schedule
  • Actively participate in review cycles and stakeholder feedback sessions to refine and finalize content

Content Governance & Maintenance

  • Identify content gaps and proactively recommend new documentation to improve coverage and clarity
  • Ensure all published content meets brand, accessibility, and editorial guidelines
