Description:

We’re looking for a strategic, story-driven Film Editor to create compelling video content across brand campaigns, social channels and internal team needs. This role blends creative storytelling with platform fluency and unique creative briefs for Marcom LA. More specifically: 

  • Edit high-quality video content for brand campaigns, product marketing, paid media, social, and internal needs
  • Craft multiple versions and cutdowns optimized for various platforms
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Motion Designers, and key stakeholders to bring concepts to life
  • Translate briefs and performance insights into engaging, on-brand storytelling
  • Manage pacing, sound design, music, color, and graphics integration to elevate final deliverables
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining creative integrity
  • Maintain organized project files and version control across multiple campaigns
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital storytelling, editing styles, and platform best practices
  • Ensure all deliverables are executed to the highest production value, meeting creative expectations in balance with marketing objectives while adhering to established timelines and scope

Qualifications 

  • 7-10 years of professional editing experience in a marketing, advertising, brand, or in-house environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand storytelling and performance-driven creative
  • Proficiency in After Effects a plus
  • Strong narrative instincts and visual taste on par with brand expectations and comparable content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Additional skills that are nice to have, but not required: Basic color grading, sound mixing skills, motion graphics capabilities
  • Experience with long form narrative storytelling is a plus

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
