Integrated Production Writer, Design & Interactive Writing
The Marketing Communications Group is the creatively-led global team that oversees our consumer-facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all media and platforms.
As an Integrated Production Writer on the Design & Interactive Writing team, you’ll help bring the story of our groundbreaking products, software, services, events, and values to life on company-owned as well as partner digital and printed materials. You will work under the guidance of creative leadership and in collaboration with other writers, producers, designers, and other disciplines. You will follow the work from concept through production and delivery, ensuring it adheres to our standards of quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing updates, proofreading, and addressing inconsistencies in copy across multiple digital and non-digital touch points. Creating and maintaining documentation as needed for visibility and collaboration across teams.
- Writing and using approved tools to create alt text for images and other web elements to the standards that adhere to accessibility best practices, while applying feedback from accessibility experts.
- Writing alternate versions of existing copy such as geographical variations based on provided briefs and populating in any relevant trackers or matrices with alt copy.
- Maintaining and updating any trackers or documentation related to copy based on inputs/feedback from stakeholders, including product, brand, legal, and editing teams.
- Making accuracy edits to existing copy based on briefs and with guidance from creative leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Actively filing and responding to copy-related tickets in production environments.
- Working collaboratively with other writers, producers, art directors, designers, developers, and other writers to meet deadlines and deliver finished work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the marketing, advertising, in-house creative, or editorial industries, with at least 3-5 years of experience in copyediting, content production, and preparing content for digital publication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly proficient at managing, editing, and checking a high volume of marketing copy that makes complex technologies seem amazingly simple.
- Possesses an insatiable love for writing, with the utmost attention to detail and a keen awareness of the digital landscape and trends.
- Track record of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace while delivering quality work at scale and on time.
- Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners and collaborating well within a project environment.
- Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
