Description:

Our creative and technical Post-Production team is looking for an online editor to contribute to the creation of immersive videos. This role will work as part of the Post-Production team primarily to support projects from the handoff from offline editorial to delivery. A meticulous eye for quality and organization is needed to maintain high-end technical requirements. 

Description

In a fast-paced multi-project environment, you will utilize your expertise in post-production finishing, with an emphasis on DaVinci Resolve workflows. Your primary focus will be online editorial, but you will also support the color correction process. There will be opportunities to collaborate with the VFX teams and contribute to developing workflows. The responsibilities include project organization, conform, VFX pulls, visual effect and title drop-ins, color management, final deliverable creation, and quality control fixes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in post production work at a post facility, major studio, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years directly contributing to post production finishing; online editorial and collaboration with color correction.
  • 3+ years experience in DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong self-sufficient troubleshooter that is detail and results oriented, comfortable with collaboration and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with offline to online editorial turnover procedures and project prep.
  • Familiar with deliverables; All ProRes formats, h.264, h.265, EXR, TIFF, DPX and JPEG.
  • Familiar with industry standard color spaces and transforms; ACES AP0, ACES AP1, Rec. 709, Rec. 2020, Rec. 2100 and P3-D65.
  • Background in Adobe Suite, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Flame, Compressor, Pro Tools, Nuke, Cinema 4D, Shotgrid and Deadline.
  • Background in basic compositing/clean-up.
  • Background in quality control, both creative and technical.
  • Background in VFX workflows; pulls, naming, drop-ins.
  • Experience working within a team setting.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse team of creative and technical professionals.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Education

  • A Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
