Description:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our internal production management team. This essential role will be the point person handling the logistical details of multiple simultaneous productions. This candidate will need to identify and provide support for all production needs such as logistical production details, call sheets, team travel coordination, personnel management, equipment management, rental & shipping, and will play an integral part in planning events that align with the goals set by the producers of each production. The PM will also need to liaise with Production Executive, creative producers, operations team and outside production companies to ensure things work flawlessly as we engage with those third-parties.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and people in a fast-paced environment under daily time constraints.
  • Lead the production of both scripted, non-scripted projects, and live events. Working with creative leads, internal and external production teams to ensure flawless execution of each project whether on a sound stage or a remote international location.
  • Create and manage all production documentation including budgets, appearance & talent releases, NDA’s, status updates, and delivery timelines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and handle last minute changes.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives and talent.
  • Functional knowledge of industry terminology, equipment types, event schedules, and production roles deployed in a typical production scenario.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Role will require flexibility with production hours, extensive travel, nights and weekends may be required.

Description

The candidate for this role will have the opportunity to participate in long-term organization and planning of major events throughout the calendar year in close collaboration with a creative team of producers, camera technicians, and production crew. You should be comfortable facilitating, tracking, and maintaining budgets of multiple off-site productions. Production Managers are expected to coordinate production equipment alongside their team, including scheduling delivery and returns of equipment rentals from third-party vendors, and coordinating and managing shipments of equipment to and from internal facilities and on-site shoot locations. 

This candidate will also be expected to work with producers and technical managers to staff freelance production crew in coordination with a third-party production company. The candidate will have a keen understanding of logistical coordination of travel, meals, and expenses for production crews of 4-50 people, including traveling Apple employees and freelancer crew, credentials, hotel and event transportation, compliance of freelance hours on-site meal breaks, catering, and craft services. Location management including procuring film permits, location agreements, and talent releases in coordination with producers will be expected. The candidate for this role will organize production schedules for various show simultaneously, and act as a liaison among different internal departments, external vendors, and partners.

Experience

At least 10+ years of experience in film production as a Production Coordinator, Production    Manager or Line Producer.
