Description:

The 3DVM team manages the development of physical deliverables in support of the group’s initiatives and creative intent. Our responsibilities include developing and deploying complex visual merchandising fixtures, furniture, and solutions for our worldwide retail and channel partners.
 

The Store Planning and Visual Merchandising Producer will partner with expert teams to lead the development of visual merchandising strategies for new product introductions, new store openings, and seasonal campaigns, as well as the store layout design for new worldwide Channel programs.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience leading the development of visual merchandising and/or store design programs,preferably with a leading retailer or global brand. Understanding of physical environments, product display, customer journey, visual merchandising, and floor plans involved in retail store design.

  • Experience managing integrated cross-functional teams (store design, visual merchandising, engineering, production, operations, finance, etc.)

  • Ability to understand, interpret and easily speak to the strategies behind and the benefits of strong store design and visual merchandising.

  • Experience in leading the creation of documentation utilized by multiple worldwide teams during install and store layout and visual merchandising.

  • Ability to communicate across HQ corporate and GEO office teams worldwide.

  • Detail-oriented problem solver who is a demonstrated leader, collaborator and team builder. Superior written and verbal communication expertise with highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Self-directed individual who can operate confidently and efficiently within ambiguous situations.

  • Proven ability to proactively establish rapport and credibility to drive and influence results across a highly matrixed organization.

Description:

  • Facilitate the development of visual merchandising and store planning strategies in close partnership with the 3DVM Creative Director, Associate Creative Directors, Cross-functional Marcom, Marketing, Sales, Planning and Operations teams. Guide workshops and creative sessions with Apple teams focused on delivering new store experiences.

  • Collaborate and align with teams across Apple to generate tactical visual merchandising strategies for new product introductions, launches, and seasonal campaigns. This includes coordination of critical handoff timing with numerous teams while keeping the deliverables and milestones clear for the working team.  Drive leadership alignment via in-person merchandising reviews across multiples lines of business.

  • Coordinate the store planning design and layout creation process, including design kit development and exception requests. Support live prototype reviews and drive alignment and decisions for programmatic store planning or merchandising deliverables.

  • Organize project intake, budget and roadmap for the visual merchandising and store planning groups. Ensure financial and team resources are prioritized and applied to the appropriate initiatives. This includes process establishment and a constant pursuit of process improvement.

  • Drive creative solutions to on-going business needs that drive sales and enhance the customer journey.

  • Manage the visual merchandising and store planning workshop and lab by leading setup for executive reviews and coordinating and allocating inventories of products and merchandising tools.

  • Lead the creation of documentation utilized by multiple worldwide teams during install and store layout and visual merchandising.

Education:

BA/BS or equivalent degree preferred.
